The Advanced Manners Class is a combination of the Canine Good Citizen exercises and exercises that Kaye feels are needed for social advancement for you and your dog.
The 10 parts of the Canine Good Citizen test are as follows:
By passing all 10 activities you will earn a Canine Good Citizen Certificate issued by the American Kennel Club.
In addition to the CGC certification, Kaye will teach you how to teach your dog "new" tricks along with everyday activities that will enhance your relationship with your dog.
Special Puppy/Beginner Jump Start Class
This is a special 4 week program due to the holiday season. This is for puppies and dogs of all ages and that have never taken an obedience class before. What will be learned?
Sit, down, come, stay, health care, nipping, jumping up, appropriate greeting behaviors, basic problem solving, a few fun games and as always according to the needs of students there is always more.
Small dog and puppy agility is for dogs and puppies under 35 pounds. Agility is a great way for dogs and their people to play together. Over, under, around, and thru--tunnels, dog walks, a-frames, weave poles, tables, jumps, tires, teeter, and ladders Ho Ho. What fun, come join Kaye on Saturday mornings and have more fun and laughs than you could ever imagine. Tired dogs are good dogs!!!
The Nonsense class is a you never know what you will be learning kind of class. My students have spent as long as 7 years in a Nonsense Class just having fun with their dogs. As a matter of fact my daytime nonsense class took a 3 year break and are back with their new young dogs starting over again. What fun this class is, everything from sampling competition exercises on a fun level, dancing, tricks, teaching our dogs to work to our body language. Anything I can think of to keep people and their dogs having a good time learning. Fee for the class is $ 80.00 for a six week session.
Beginner Rally is a fun class for the student who want to enjoy building a teamwork relationship with their dog. In Beginner Rally all levels of signs for AKC Rally are introduced in a fun and playful manner. Beginner Rally is the same as Rally for Competition except geared towards the individual dog owner who just wants to have fun with their dog. Fee $90.00
There are 3 levels in Rally Training. The first level is Novice, the second level is Advanced and the third level is Excellent. The Advanced and Excellent exercises are the feature of this 6 week course. Pre-requisite is 2 sessions of Beginner Rally first then onto Advanced/Excellent classes. Fee $90.00
Show Handling Class
This is a drop-in class that meets once a week for 45 minuter per class. The fee is $10.00
Conformation Handling is a drop-in class that teaches you and your dog how to perform in the show ring. Whether you are an experienced handler or a novice handler, Kaye will help you improve your performance as well as your dog’s performance in the ring. Kaye is a problem-solver for show dogs, both for the breed ring and the obedience ring. She will help you get you through the toughest of problems.
This is a 6- week course that meets once a week for 45 minutes per class. The fee is $105.00
This course is a step up from the Puppy Manners Class. If you completed a Puppy Manners course, this is your next step in learning. If you have a puppy that is over 4 months old and has never attended a training class before, then this is a great class for your puppy also. In the Beginning Manneres Course your puppy/dog will learn the following:
• Impulse control exercises
• Stay for distractions
• Walking at your side
• Leave it
• Greeting friendly strangers
• Coming when called
• Problem solving
• And much more
• Games games games for exercise and fun
• AKC S.T.A.R Puppy certificate can be earned by completing this 6-week course.

Canine Good Citizen
The above classes are scheduled on an as needed basis. A fall Canine Good Citizen test is scheduled for December and a Community Canine and Urban Canine are Scheduled to start in October. Please check the class schedule for dates, fee, and time
